“I met Jack when I was finishing a renovation of a townhouse on the Upper West Side. After having problems with the original contractor, Jack stepped in and solved the problems very well. I sold that townhouse for a very good price. Then Jack went on to do my own apartment. It was a gut renovation combining three apartments on the UWS, over 4000sf. We're very happy with the results, the finishes are lovely. Jack is reliable, easy to work with, stern with people when he has to be, but from a client point of view, I've never had an issue with him, everything has always been resolved well and I always fount that his goal is to do a good job. I have the highest recommendation for him. The only difficulties were with New York City Bureaucracy. When issues came up they were dealt with to the best of everyone’s abilities. To his credit, he stays calm, he works on fixing things. For any project I would give him the highest recommendation.


“They led a full gut renovation of a Manhattan apartment and they were absolutely fantastic. I never in a million years thought that I would go into a renovation and come out actually liking my contractor but I've recommended them to everybody that has asked. There were things that came up, but none of them were their fault and what was really exceptional about them is the extent to which they were able and willing to be flexible. They went to great lengths so that when our co-op or landmarks or city approvals did weird stuff they were always looking for ways to keep working and to keep the overall schedule even as stuff came up that was out of their control. The quality of the work was good, the attention to detail was good. We had a complicated project with a lot of moving parts, including an architect, decorator and co-op architect, and when people missed their deadlines, they were mature and flexible, they hit their budget and they hit their timeline.”
